A super place to bring the children its all about beach games and crabbing. There's just one small amusement arcade on the pier. But there's loads for the children to do. Take them down to the harbour with a bucket and line, joining the other families trying to hook the biggest crab in the ocean. Head over to the putting green for a bit more fun. Make sure you're on the pier for the top of the hour to watch the clock squirting water at passers by. Spend time at the beach playing cricket and flying kites and head to Gunhill Kiosk for coffee, ice cream and snacks.

You'll never be short of places to eat and drink with traditional Suffolk pubs in the town, by the harbour across the River Blyth in nearby Walberswick.
